ABOUT US
WELCOME
A warm welcome to Peggy's Emporium!
Purveyors of the finest magickal lifestyle goods, homewares, unique gifts and vintage curios.

Established in 2020, with our grand opening in April 2021, Peggy's is owned and managed by a mother & daughter team.
Our aim is to provide our guests with a unique & relaxing shopping experience - we're not your average gift shop! We hope Peggy's will evoke gentle feelings of nostalgia within each of our guests and allow patrons to connect with the everyday magick that surrounds us wherever we go - we just need to slow down and tune in to experience it.
THE TEAM
Peggy's Emporium is co-owned by mother and daughter team, Joanne (far left) and Emily (middle left).
Joanne is a science teacher through the week, but on weekends transforms into our kitchen leader as owner and manager of our sister business, Jarvie's of St Andrews. Emily (now in her twenties; still accessorising with hair bows), is a University of St Andrews alumnus. She takes care of the day-to-day running and management of Peggy's, in addition to heading up all social media and online marketing.

ETHICS & SUSTAINABILITY
At Peggy's, we are on a mission to provide our customers with environmentally friendly and sustainable options wherever possible. All of our locally sourced items are produced by fellow small businesses with similar values to our own, and we welcome any trade offers from local businesses and craftspeople with ethical and environmentally conscious practices. As such, an ever-growing number of our product lines and collections are responsibly sourced and some of which are derived from all-natural, recycled and recyclable materials.
-
Most of the products we stock are designed and produced in the UK, though some are, unavoidably, manufactured overseas. Please shop with us, safe in the knowledge that all of our lines, including those sourced from overseas, are from suppliers with sound ethical practices. The stock we source is always shipped to us from within the UK, and any large wholesale orders are delivered to us using carbon neutral methods.

A number of our in-store practices focus on reducing waste and breathing new life into old pieces. Not only do we stock a growing range of reclaimed vintage collectibles, but we are proud to furnish our St Andrews store with second-hand and up-cycled furniture, primarily sourced from local house and shop clearances. Additionally, when shipping out orders to our customers, we always reuse boxes and packing materials, giving them a second life whilst making sure your items will get to you safely and securely! Please recycle or reuse your boxes to continue the cycle.
