Important Care Information
The glass dome is NOT attached to the base. This is intended to allow the customer freedom to paint the base to best match their interior style, should they wish. If you would like to secure the base, the creator recommends using hot glue. You must not lift the dome completely over the specimen, as the wingspan is wider than the opening of the dome and you risk irreversably damaging the butterfly when trying to lower the base back into place.
 
Due to the very delicate nature of this piece, we cannot accept returns on this product. Sold as seen. As shown in the listing images, please be aware that this preserved specimen is not perfectly symmetrical.
